My kids are a bit older than 3, but despite constant effort, including hovering over them to make sure they actually brush their teeth and not just lie about it for the millionth time, their dental hygiene is somewhere between "did you just throw up and forget to rinse," and "is that your mouth or did you just fart?"
Since my son is very prone to mouth sores, he also needs something that he can handle as he has a "sensitive mouth", according to the pediatrician.
The good news is that this mouthwash powder is easy to use, has a very slight, inoffensive strawberry taste. Both of my 11 yearolds had no problem, although I used perhaps more water than I should have and we had problems keeping in our mouths while we made funny faces and tried not to laugh. We failed and laughed several times.
The good news is that neither kid found any problems with it.
I suppose we'll get them to rinse until this box is gone and see if it's done anything by then. I'm not really sure how much a pro- and pre- biotic rinse is going to help, but honestly, if it reduces the odors alone from "open sewer" to something more mild like "cheese that might have gone off," I'll consider it some sort of win.
After 2 days though, no such magical outcome.
We’ve been struggling to teach my little one to spit properly, so the fact that this is safe to swallow is a huge relief. The strawberry flavor is a hit no complaints about it 'burning' like traditional mouthwash. It’s a bit of an extra step to mix with water, but the peace of mind is worth it. Overall my kiddo likes it and has fun using this so it's a win win all around :)
My grandkids use this without complaining. Has a good flavor for kids. And will not hurt them if they swallow it. Amazing value for the price.
This MouthFlora Kids Mouthwash Powder with Probiotics and Prebiotics comes in 30 individually wrapped packets, making it easy to portion for each use. The instructions are clear and straightforward. The flavor is a mild strawberry, which my 8-year-old daughter enjoyed. She mentioned that it wasn't too sweet compared to other kid-friendly mouthwashes. She has been using it without any issues and can swish it in her mouth for a full minute; however, she does not swallow it and only spits it out. In contrast, my 5-year-old daughter did not like the taste. She could only swish it for about 10 seconds before needing to spit it out. Overall, I believe this mouthwash is more suitable for older children than for younger ones.
