These come individually packaged so that they are easy to travel with and easy to mix just the right amount every time. It’s not too strong for my toddlers mouth or minty at all. Does have a strawberry taste to it. I like that this product is safe in case he doesn’t spit it all out and accidentally swallows some of it. He seems to enjoy brushing his teeth more with this product added to his routine because I let him do the mixing up with supervision of course so he doesn’t spill it. These are a decent value at about 57 cents each.

I like this product. I would not say having the mouthwash powdered is particularly convenient since you need to hydrate it yourself, however I also understand that powdering it makes it travel ready and prevent logistical issues like spoilage and need for alcohol or preservatives, which defeats the purpose of probiotic mouthwash. The flavor was good, I think my kid will like it. I can’t verify the dental benefits if any, however. I really like the variety of pro an prebiotics as in theory that diversity should help with a robust healthy oral micro biome. I also appreciate that the sweetener of choice is xylitol due to the dental health benefits it possesses. Lastly, the fact that it can be swallowed gives me assurance that even if my young kid practicing spitting swallows some it won’t be harmful. I don’t know that the product is worth the price as I am assure the health benefits of it. However, if it makes a meaningful difference in oral health then I for sure recommend this mouthwash!

My child is very sensitive to mint flavors and often says they feel spicy. The strawberry flavor worked much better and paired nicely with his strawberry flavored toothpaste, which made the routine much easier.

Both my 6- and 7-year-olds are excited to use this mouth wash; they get a kick out of it foaming a bit in their cups and it is actually making them kind of excited to brush their teeth. So big win there. I have noticed it has made some improvement to their morning breath, less rotting carcass, more poop. It doesn't sound like a good thing, but it is.

Neither have had any issues with stomach upset or anything else of the sort. The 6-year-old is having softer stools though, which is a great thing because they often have too hard of stools, even with a fiber supplement.

Fun fact, it compares up pretty similarly to the MouthFlora adult wash, except with the benefit of some flavoring.

If I had a complaint to muster, it would be about the individual packs, I would imagine a jar and scoop could accomplish the same thing without the single use plastics.

The MouthFlora Kids mouthwash is something I have been using over the course of 1 week for myself alongside 1 week with my children. While safe to swallow, it is still recommended to spit out the mouthwash, as that is part of the training for children to get in the habit of.

Truthfully, this mouthwash is excellent for training children because it tastes absolutely awful. I mean this is some of the worst mouthwash I have ever tried in my life. It absolutely makes my son want to spit it out almost immediately. It is harder to make him swoosh this mouthwash for 30 seconds than to stop him from swallowing it.

That makes it a great training mouthwash for young children, and it has taught my son to not swallow mouthwash.

The addtion of pre and probioitcs is a nice touch, and can possibly lead to better dental care for your children.

Bought this mouthwash to relieve soreness in my mouth. Not only did it resolve this, it's prevented gut bloating. pre/pro biotics are important to take anyway, so why not kill bad bacteria that cause tooth decay?I will be buying this product regularly.
